About the event
On December 6, 1989, 14 women lost their lives at École Polytechnique de Montreal because they were women studying engineering. This year is the 30th anniversary of the massacre. December 6 is recognized as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada. Please join us as we remember these 14 women at UFV’s annual candlelit vigil.
